Chordii is a web app, not an App Store download — you install it straight from your browser, no store required.
After you purchase, go to app.chordii.com on your phone, add it to your home screen, and open it. Sign in with the email you used at checkout and we'll send you a 6-digit code. Enter it once and you're in.
One purchase, one account. You'll get a welcome email with the full setup steps right after you buy.

Can I install the app on all my devices? Will I have to buy it again if I get a new phone?
Once you order, the app is yours no matter the device — install it on your iPhone, your iPad, all of them. Your purchase is tied to your email, and each time you sign in on a new device you'll get a fresh 6-digit code. One $15 purchase, all your devices, yours to keep.
Will it work on my iPad?
Yes — it works on all Apple iPhones and iPads. Just keep in mind this first version is built for portrait mode. The next thing on my schedule is a whole new layout built specifically for the iPad in landscape mode. Purchase now and that (plus any other new feature) will be included free and updated automatically for you.
How do I install the app on my iPhone?
Here are the steps:
- Open the app in the Safari browser.
- After logging in, tap the 3 dots on the bottom menu.
- Tap 'Share'.
- Tap 'View More'.
- Tap 'Add to Home Screen'.
That'll install the app right on your phone.
Does the app play back the chord sounds?
Not yet, but that's scheduled to be added next. When it goes live, you'll get the update for free, automatically.
Does the app have guitar chord diagrams?
Not yet, but guitar chord diagrams are on our development list for when we have the time and budget. Everyone who owns the app will automatically receive that upgrade for free when it's ready.

Would be nice to have tabs on different chords that would take this to the next level. Different shapes and voicing would make you the best

Basically, it's a list of chord "families" with a few additions. If you know your major scales, you're already there. Thankfully you can turn the sounds off!
I don’t use it to write. I’m a drummer and I use for basic theory.
Have not used it yet. I purchased so I could transpose keys if needed. I have a couple of the wheels. I like that I have everything on my phone for quick reference. Like that it is one time purchase and not a subscription. I toured the app. There is a small learning curve. I do not write music presently. I do like there are different opinions for possible chords when putting together your music. Reference for finger placement, especially for the chords that are not common would beneficial. Maybe an audio sample of chords would be awesome.

I love all of the products. I have the composing cards, transposing wheels, and the app, and love how simple it makes composing and transposing! The wheels and the cards are good quality, and the app is so easy to use!

I have not had the opportunity to do much with this app, but I think it will be an invaluable tool.
As a professional songwriter, I enjoy messing around with tools for songwriters for inspiration and the joy of triggered ideas for the 2nd or 3rd song in a session. Chordii reminds me of where I am, where I can go, and how to explain to my students what is next or easily workable. Chordii points them to the core of music and to themselves, right when AI would point them away. I love it.

It helps you think of things when your mind is blank.
I was never able to Download it as an app, so I don't know where it is on my phone. Therefore, I haven't accessed it except for the first day that I paid for it and used it. I found it to be helpful for sewing loose ends together. Definitely, I would and wish that it were just as simple as an app and I can just open it, something that I could keep on my home screen or with my other apps that are musical. Thanks.

I've been using all of Chordii's "hardware" products for a while now. They've be an immense help to me when song writing. I'm fairly "music theory illiterate", so those products help me bridge that gap, and have opened doors to new paths. Now, having the new Chordii app on my phone is even more convenient. It was very easy to setup, and it worked the first time. It's easily worth every penny, if not more. Add the fact that this is a small, family business, I like it even more. What's not to love?! Thank you Chordii, and "keep goin'!"...

Great tool to come up with chord progressions and substitutions easily so you can focus on making music you feel good about.
I really like this Chordii app. My only suggestion is: I wish you could tap the suggested chord and see 1 to three chord boxes. I know it will provide you with the notes of a chord, but seeing the shape of a D#m7b5 would be helpful.
I haven't had a good chance to sit down with it just yet. That's more on me than anything. It looks good and feels intuitive
This app has potential to massively improve songwriting, or even just when experimenting with finding different things to do when playing to chords. I am loving it very much so far!
looking forward to future enhancements. so much handier than the 2 paper versions that i have and never use. i use my ipad exclusively for every musical moment and having the chordii right there is most useful.
Nice app for song writing or taking apart a current song. Most songs follow these progressions and I was surprised the majority only use three or four.
I have played around with the app and so far, I really like it. I will try it on stage this weekend at church. There are timw when the MD will call out random numbers and if I don’t know what to play I stay silent on my guitar. I think this will be just what I need. Will give another rating later.
